The Tomorrow People (1973-1979)

I became fascinated with this series despite the scripting and slight character development. It does grow on you, but admittedly not very much. Well, it was just a kid's series. There are some very appealing youngsters, both as regulars and guest appearances.

The Trial Of Old Drum (2000)

Bobby Edner is a joy to see - AND hear. His voice is very endearing. When I heard the lawyer's final address to the jury I realized it was a famous eulogy to dogs and that I had read it somewhere. In school?

Some nice imagery, but the slow pace was stupefying. This film takes itself very seriously, and that alone is enough to impress festival voters.
