Intriguing and surprising film. Conor Donowan was very good at playing the role that was assigned to him. The story tells in an exhaustive way how and what a brother can do after an irreparable event, hatching and processing to perfection.... I let you see it, because it deserves it. The score of 9, in my opinion, is perfect.

An unusual movie with a fine performance from relatively unknown boy actor, Conor Donovan, as the surviving twin with the strawberry birthmark. There are three plotlines of which Donovan, playing Jacob Carges, is the main one the other two rangeing from hilarious to implausible. It is not often a boy film ends in a twist which indicates the young hero is not what he seems and could become a psychotic monster. A great film which might have worked better if the main plotline had been enhanced. Unfortunately, no DVD extras which meant no interview with Conor. Boo.

This movie stunned me. There is so much raw emotional power in the synopsis alone. The kid actors do quite a good job providing an honest portrayal of modern 12 year olds, and Conor Donovan's performance in particular is pretty gut wrenching. I really enjoyed the experience of watching it all, especially Conor's storyline. However, this movie lost a lot of it's potential in its occasionally outrageous plot development. Not one of the three storylines is completely believable, and the one with the chubby kid is borderline absurd. This is a haunting movie, no doubt, and Conor Donovan is very watchable. However, I have to say it could have been much better.
