The Next Voice You Hear (1950)
A griping movie, it will make you think, wether or not god is real! here's a tidbit: actor Nancy Davis years later became known as Nancy Reagan, the wife and First Lady of Pres. Ronald Reagan!
My Movie Rating:Night of the Hunter (1955)
my favorite scene is where John and his Sister stop for the night in the barn, John is sitting in the doorway of the Hayloft, and in the distance you can see the Preacher ride slowly by on his Horse! Robert Mitchum was great as the Preacher! Billy was very watchable! I love this movie alot! I watch it every chance I get. I highly recommend this, not only as a boy movie, but also as a suspence, drama!
Nowhere To Run (1993)
Kieran was simply adorable in this movie, Mookie is desperate for a father figure, he immediately attaches himself to Sam! and I love how the ending leaves you with a since that they will be together again! a great movie, If you like the Father/Son bonding! and if you like action!
Also, I'm a Carbuff, I love the 1979 Pontiac Firebird too!
The Nutcracker in 3D (2009)
I loved it! i was little disappointed that Charlie didn't have any more screen time than he did, but what scenes he had were quite charming! I'm not that much into Classical music, but I do like Tchaikovsky's music, especially "The Nutcracker Suite"
I saw The Nutcracker on DVD with Macauly Caulkin and wasn't as impressed as I am with this movie. The DVD had a great "Making of" feature! It had a couple of moments of Elle, Charlie, and Aaron during leasure time on Set, and clowning around between Takes. This movie was a delight for me, and I highly recommend it for family viewing!
The Odd Life of Timothy Green (2012)
CJ is what I concider "Drop-Dead" gorgeous! after seeing him in this film, he is now my #1 top favorite boy actor! I love the scene where, after getting him cleaned up, he falls asleep, and Dad carries him to bed, he looked SO adorable! imagine, to wake up some night and find the child you'd been dreaming of, truely would be a miracle! especially if, like Greens, you couldn't have any! The DVD was great, only, there isn't any Special features or behind the scenes footage, there are Deleted Scenes avalible on the disk, but no bloopers or Gag reel. this is a great movie for the whole family. the movie gets 9/10, and CJ Adams gets 10/10 for the wonderful job he did, truely a very talented little boy! you WILL love him, and the movie!
Off Season (2001)
If for nothing else, it's worth watching just for Rory!
My Movie Rating:Old Yeller (1957)
Watch the movie first! then read the book! there are parts of the book that Disney couldn't put in the movie, because in 1957, they just could not put nudity in a movie. Tommy Kirk was outstanding as Travis, Kevin Corcorin was cute as Arliss, and it would have been interesting see him naked for the watering hole scenes!
When I was in Elementary school, the library teacher would read this book, The Little House series, and few others to the class, I have loved these books for a life time! "Hydrophobi" or Hydrophobia is what we today call Raibbies!
Oliver Twist (1999)
As a Drama, one of the best tellings of the Oliver Twist story! At least as far as I'm concerned!!
Oliver Twist (1997)
Definatly not the best version of Oliver, but still watchable! Alex is SO gorgeous! Dreyfuss is one my fav. adult actors, but I think Ron Moody and Ben Kingsley did much better jobs as Fagan!
I've seen all of the Oliver movies, and this one ranks last on the list for me.
My Movie Rating:Oliver Twist (1933)
5/10 for Dickie Moore!
My Movie Rating:Oliver Twist (1948)
My Movie Rating:Oliver Twist (2005)
For me, this movie ranks as second to Oliver! Barney's performance as Oliver was memorable! and he's SO cute!! :)
My Movie Rating:Oliver! (1968)
I was very sorry to hear of Jack Wild's passing, he was a great actor, I can remember him on H.R. Pufnstuf and I've seen him in Melody, a memorable performance!
Oliver! is, in my opinion, the best telling of the Oliver Twist story! it's a full circle of entertainment! it has song, dance, comedy, drama, and a little suspence! a well rounded movie!
Oliver's Ghost (2011)
I've alway's been a fan of Martin Mull, and he did a great job in this playful romp! Nicholas was delightful! a great family movie, were you don't have worry wether or not your kids will see something inappropiate.
My Movie Rating:The Omen (1976)
If you've seen the remake, watch this one, it's much better than the remake!
The Omen (2006)
A very good movie, in it's own rite! but I personally like the original better! but I'll watch either one!
One Hour Photo (2002)
a great movie to watch on halloween, with a bowl of Popcorn!
3/1/2014 If Robin had done this movie before Insomnia, I think he'd been in line for an Oscar nomination, because it was SUCH a contrast to the characters he usually played, at least upto that point in his career! The character he played in Insomnia really creeped me out! this character intrigued me. Robin Williams is just a big kid at heart(If you want proof, watch Inside The Actor's Studio with Wms. as guest), that why he's so good at the rolls he does.
Robin's oldest Son got in trouble at school once for telling an inappropriate joke, when asked where he heard it, he said his Dad told it to him! This movie definately worth the time to watch, just for Williams performance.
Opposite Day (2009)
6/10 because I thought Billy Unger was mega-cute! and also because Uriah Shelton was in it for a cameo!
My Movie Rating:The Other (1972)
one of my favs!
My Movie Rating:Our House (1986-1988)
This was a vey short lived series that for me had something very special! Chad Allen! Deidre Hall, who played the Mother, had such a close friendship with Allen, that she named her first child David, after his Character! Today Chad co-owns a theatrecial playhouse, he is also a Gay Rights Activist.
I always thought Chad had one of THE cutest smiles in Hollywood, especially in the opening segment of the show where he's at the dinner table (From the polit Ep.).
