Brady Bunch (1969-1974)

A cute American comedy but the script was made for the laugh track to get you to chuckle.

Promises (2000)

This is a truly eye opening movie. To see how these children's minds are created by not only their parents but by their schools and surrounding circumstances that affect their lives individually. They all have such a different diverse universe that they each live in; just being a few kilometers away from each other. Created by the surrounding hatred, vengeance, national allegiance, walls, fences, checkpoints and a child's want for peace and brotherhood. The follow-up was just as important as the original filming. They become more polarized into the two sides as they feel forced or actually forced into the views of their respective little worlds that they live in. This is a must see for those in the US, Canada and in much of Europe because most have not nor can not understand living in the situation that these children have to live in, in the movie.

Treasure Island (1950)

Bobby Driscoll is such a wonderful actor. He has that sweet innocence on his face and in his voice. He is a contrast to Long John Silver……and as the story goes. It is almost impossible to find this type of cinema photography in Hollywood today. The shades of darkness and the use of color are not used today except in a few films from else ware in the world.
