Synopsis

Simone has just moved to a new town with her mother and it is the first day at her new school. Her mom bugs her about her hair and in frustration Simone simply cuts it off so that it looks boyish. When she arrives at school and the teacher calls her name, she thinks that there has been a misunderstanding calls her Simon instead of Simone. Simone doesn't understand at first, but then she answers and just like that, everybody thinks she's a boy. It isn't long before she's accepted into a circle of guys as one of them. But romance isn't far away in a boy named Isak.

Saga

Perhaps the all-time best of Swedish children's TV, which is saying a lot. A great miniseries about gender roles, first love, family, mortality, a girl and her dog...Strong performances all round.
