The Boy (2015)

One of the best movies I've watched.

Though slow, it was very intriguing to see Ted's (Jared Breeze) development and growth.

Jared Breeze played it brilliantly. He had very little dialogue/lines, but his expressions and actions were more than enough for audiences to sense his boredom and loneliness of living in the deserted motel. He's also really cute!

Rainn Wilson and David Morse were excellent as well. The music was also on point and brought chills down my spine.

Definitely a must-watch for those who enjoy a slow, burning movie.

Dry Rain (2008)

A superb short film.

Nathan Gamble was AMAZING (as usual) in this film. Extremely adorable, extremely funny!

The story is pretty short but sweet, the ending is quite touching.

A must watch, especially for fellow NG fans!

End of the Spear (2005)

Touching and decent film

Particularly love the scene when Chase's father was flying off and Chase ran after the plane saying "I love you dad"...made me cry for a while...

Fireflies in the Garden (2008)

Watched this for Chase!

This movie had a strong cast but not a very strong plot.

Props to Chase for his well perfomance, though he was not truly part of the main plot (more of younger Michael and his father)

Favorite part of the movie was the wheatfield scene between Ryan Reynolds and Chase Ellison!

The Mist (2007)

Spectacular!

Nathan Gamble was SO cute in this movie!

On top of that, he performed excellently as Billy Drayton.

I'm pretty sure everyone already know about Gamble's famous "Daddy don't go scene" in this movie. Watching him cry was heartbreaking, and I think to be able to pull off this scene requires tremendous amount of skills, which even an adult actor may not possess.

Marcia Gay Harden, one of my favorite actresses also performed extraordinarily. Her portrayal of a zealot and how she talked in the movie actually made people hate her! I really gained alot more respect and like for her.

Overall, a solid horror movie and a must watch for any Gamble fan. BUT you MAY want to skip the ending...it's very saddening...though I think the ending is really the most surprising & twisted aspect of this movie.

The Odd Life of Timothy Green (2012)

Beautiful movie!

As expected, CJ was absolutely amazing in this film. I'd say the Greens carried this movie.

CJ was able to portray 'Timothy Green' like how one will expect. A very curious, cheerful, kind-hearted & slow-to-react (clumsy?) boy who is actually much smarter and talented and knows a lot more than you'd think, deep down inside. At least that was how I felt 'Timothy Green' was meant to be.

One big flaw of this film I thought, was the lack of answers. There were so many unanswered questions about this movie such as the origin of Timothy Green or the purpose of the role of Joni?

Nonetheless, excellent perfomances from Jennifer Garner and Joel Edgerton as the parents (though admittedly they were quite annoying sometimes when they keep talking & completing each other's sentences) and of course CJ Adams! He was really adorable too.

Overall, this movie will leave you with a bittersweet feeling. The ending is pretty touching.

Quake (2007)

Great acting from Chase Ellison (as always so cute) and Erika Flores.

Ending was pretty touching and ultimately the future of the 2 kids in the film will be up to our imagination.

That's What I Am (2011)

An uplifting movie with positive messages - on being yourself, doing what you love to do and tolerance

Great performance from Chase and Ed Harris! If only I had such an awesome teacher when I was in school.

Good performance from the other kid actors and Randy Orton as well (I mean he is more of a wrestler not an actor, cut him some slack)

The Year of Getting to Know Us (2008)

Decent movie at best.

Only watched it because I'm a Chase fan

In fact, I skipped majority of the parts where Chase wasn't involved and I'm confident that I'm not the only one who did this. But yes, I do understand the plot.

Despite this, I thought the ending was pretty touching.

Overall, if you're a Chase Ellison fan, then please do watch this movie, he was beautiful inside! If not, you might want to find some other movies to watch
