The Boys from Brazil
(1978)
Synopsis
Dr. Josef Mengele (Gregory Peck) clones Hitler 94 times in a Brazilian clinic, and sends the resulting infants to be adopted in various countries, giving them childhoods as near as possible identical to Hitler's. His ultimate plan is to create a band of Nazi leaders that can continue where Hitler left off. Nazi hunter Ezra Lieberman (Laurence Olivier) learns of the plan and is determined to thwart it. When the two meet face-to-face in the home of one of the Hitler clones, Bobby Wheelock (Jeremy Black), it is up to the boy to choose whose side he's on.
Notes
- Based on the 1976 novel of the same name by Ira Levin
- Jeremy Black plays no less than four characters in this film, each a physical clone of Hitler. To prepare for his roles as the European clones, Black was sent to a speech studio in New York City in order to learn how to speak with both an English and a German accent.

Gripping over-the-top story with wonderful performances from Olivier and Gregory Peck. Jeremy Black is superb as the various clones of Hitler. The interaction of these three actors in the climactic scene of the film is thrilling.

One of those films you either like or hate but hardly scraping in as a boy movie I would've thought. Usually I give a poor boy film 5 for the fact there's a boy actor in it but Jeremy Black hardly appears at all except for the ending. However, he can always say he appeared on set with Gregory Peck and Laurence Olivier.
