Jack Frost is a singer who's on the road most of the time so he can't spend a lot of time with his son Charlie, although they love each other very much. When Jack dies in a car accident, Charlie becomes a very sad young man, until... Jack returns as a snowman! Now they can do all the things they've missed when Jack was human, but what will people think when they see Charlie talking to a snowman and what will happen when the weather gets warmer?

Not a patch on The Snowman, but quite a bit better than the general run of films of this type. Irritating but minimal scatological humour; frenetic only where it should be (in the fun snowball fights and sled chases); fundamentally quite gentle and sweet. Joseph Cross as the lead is a charmer.
My Movie Rating: 7 / 10Just made for Christmas with a loving tale of a boy who's father dies and comes back as a snowman. Far fetched? 'Fraid so. Joseph Cross saves the day by giving an engaging performance as the son, Charlie. You have to roll along with the absurd plot but it's a pleasant film nonetheless. The DVD has no extras - boo.
