Daddy Day Care (2003)

A delightfully fun movie for children and adults featuring lots of cute kids. Also, Eddie Murphy is great fun in this film as he plays an out-of-work man who teams with his best friend to start a day care center. In no time at all they are in over their heads. Check it out.

Eres mi héroe (2003)

One of my favorite foreign films. It is also worth watching because Manuel Lozano is possibly the most talented child actor ever to come out of Spain. If you like this movie, then watch his earlier movies as well, especially "Butterfly" (La Langue des Papillons), possibly the best Spanish film ever made. It made Lozano a child prodigy in Spain.

Homecoming (1996)

Three children are abandoned by their mother, so they set out on their own and eventually find their grandmother (played wonderfully by Anne Bancroft). Their grandmother was cold toward them at first, but in time she began to enjoy their company. This is a great movie. I watched it because I was a huge fan of William Greenblatt, who played Sammy in the movie. All three children were nominated for a Young Artist Award (shared) for Best Performance in a TV Movie--Young Ensemble Award. I highly recommend this movie.

Kicking and Screaming (2005)

This is an OK movie if you just want some good entertainment. The best part of the movie (besides watching the kids playing) was that Will Ferrell learned a good lesson in the end: don't let the competition go to your head. Once he learned to relax and enjoy the game, the kids were also enjoying the game. And by the way, the two Italians really were good, as reviewer Andreas_N pointed out. Maybe he's Italian too.

Nanny McPhee (2005)

This was a very entertaining film with Emma Thompson doing a fantastic job as the nanny who is charged with taking care of a family of children who are intent on driving her away. But she has a special way of dealing with difficult children. Watch the film and you'll see what I mean. I really adored Thomas Sangster in this film. But the film that he really shined in was called Love Actually, which came out two years earlier. It also features an incredible performance by Emma Thompson. But Sangster is really incredible (as well as adorable). Watch both films. You won't regret it.

The Rainbow Tribe (2008)

I really did enjoy this movie because of the premise and the acting. I do agree with reviewer 'gee' on two points: they needed more time for character development, and I agree that Max Burkholder is so adorable. Even though this movie could have been better, it is still worth watching, in my opinion.
