Synopsis
Arif is a 10-year-old child who has lost his father before he had the chance to know him. He lives with his mother Makbule in an apartment that is far from the city center and still carries the traces of the neighborhood culture. He is in love with Arzu, who lives in the same building but is much older than him. Having experienced such a feeling for the first time, Arif is content with sending anonymous letters to her. One day, his grandfather Ihsan, who had abandoned them, is brought in accompanied by two officers. He pretends to be paralyzed because he knew that Makbule would not accept him. Arif is the only person who knows he's pretending...
