Synopsis

9-year-old Slawek's passion is model airplanes, but he is too young to join the club. His parents don't have time for him because they work. He is saved from loneliness by his friendship with Witek - his neighbor. Together they join Witek's brother's gang of hooligans and go down the wrong path. Meanwhile, a new tenant moves into the tenement, Mr. Janicki - a former aviator and paratrooper and owner of a collection of aircraft models. Under his influence, Slawek disconnects from the hooligans. Janicki helps him with his passion and together they build a model of the "Kolibra" plane.
