Synopsis
A boy and his family leave Prague during World War II and move to the small village of Slavonice. There, the boy meets distant relatives and adjusts to a new way of life.

- This film is the prequel to Obecná skola (1991).
- Directed by Jan Sverák (b. 1965), who also directed such films as Obecná skola (1991) and Kolya (1996)
- Winner of several awards, including the Audience Award for Best Film at the 2017 Cottbus Film Festival of Young East European Cinema, the 2018 Czech Lion Award for Best Cinematography, and also the 2018 Czech Lion Award for Best Film Poster!
