Synopsis
Peter (Richard Labuda) lives in Czechoslovakia, on the border with Austria - to which his parents emigrated shortly before the occupation of Czechoslovakia that brought an end to the Prague Spring. Now looked after by his grandparents, Peter still dreams of one day crossing the border. In the meantime, he has to cope with the possibility that a social worker will remove him from the care of his grandparents and place him in a children's home. This film is about Peter's confrontation with the bizarre and often absurd realities of his world - the fights, loves, camaraderie, politics, betrayals and deaths - that will transform the life of this young boy.
