- Directed by John Krasinski, who also stars in the movie with his real-life wife Emily Blunt
- Director John Krasinski noticed Noah Jupe in the 2016 miniseries "The Night Manager" and later saw an early screening of the 2017 film "Suburbicon" in order to evaluate Noah's performance. About Noah's acting style he would later say: "There's a big difference between a kid who acts like he's under duress and one who lives it. And Noah is so good, you think he's living it."
