Synopsis
Tomboyish farm girl Mary Kensay, who wants to become an automotive engineer, takes refuge from domestic and school travails through the company of her best friend - and fellow kart-racing enthusiast - Tom (Jonathan Mason). As her parents bicker over money, the future of the farm and their rocky marriage, Mary tries to concentrate her attention on an upcoming go-kart race.
