Synopsis
A servant in the house of Wuthering Heights tells a traveller of the doomed love between Cathy and Heathcliff.
Notes
- Based on the 1847 novel "Wuthering Heights", by Emily Bront?, the film depicts only sixteen of the novel's thirty-four chapters, omitting entirely the second generation of characters.
- In 2007, this film was selected for preservation in the United States National Film Registry by the Library of Congress as being "culturally, historically, or aesthetically significant".
