Synopsis

Christian lives with his Italian mother in poverty on the island of Ischia. His German father died before he was born. One day the boy's lonely, wealthy grandfather demands that Christian come to live with him in the Alps. The boy's mother only allows him to visit his grandfather. It will take all of Christian's charm and the intervention of his grandfather's housekeeper to reunite this family.

A reworking of the Little Lord Fauntleroy story. The changes made did not agree with me.
