Synopsis
11-year-old Unna senses that her Granddad is in danger and saves his life. At the hospital her grandfather reveals that she has shaman blood in her and that the gift to heal has been passed on to her. She uses the shaman?s book and magic drum and is transported to the Finnish Stone Age where she meets Nuuk, the son of the original tribe?s shaman. Together they search for a cure for her grandad.

8 / 10 Unna ja Nuuk has two distinct story lines woven together. About halfway thru the film, they merge together into one. Very unique, very interesting.
Toni Leppe is excellent in the film (though his character is only half of the story). A great film from Finland, wonderfully done!
Excellent cinematography! In Finnish with English subtitles.
