Synopsis
A unique friendship shared by two seventh grade boys, Kevin and Max. Kevin, afflicted with a physical disability is a very bright boy. Max is an over weight boy who suffers from a learning disability and has failed the seventh grade several times. Fate brings the boys together when Kevin is assigned to tutor Max in reading skills. The two boys appear to have nothing in common but they share many painful realities of being social outcasts. Gradually they form a strong bond of friendship.

My Movie Rating: 7 / 10 This movie moved me. It reminded me of a girl I know in my childhood. Long after The Mighty was over I found myself thinking about the story.
