- As a lad, DaCosta attended the Phildene Stage School, in Chiswick, London.
- Philip DaCosta went on to enjoy a successful career in the music industry as a Music Producer, Songwriter, Mixer, Engineer, and Programmer.
- The last entry ("Scum") in the filmography left is the original TV play which was scheduled for transmission in 1977, but was withdrawn from broadcast and not transmitted until 1991. DaCosta also had a role in the film version of "Scum", which was released in 1979, and was eventually transmitted on UK television in 1983.
- The Profile picture on this page shows DaCosta as Roland in the HTV West miniseries "King of the Castle" (1977).
