Dividing Bar

The Sandlot 2 (2005)

Although this is supposed to be a sequel, the basic plot is way too similar to the original so it's more like a remake. Most of the changes they made are quite ridiculous, like substituting a fully operational model space shuttle in place of the Babe Ruth ball, which has to be retrieved from the Beast's domain. Why the hell don't they just knock on the front door? The cast chosen for this movie is much too politically correct. The original gang was all boys This lot includes three girls, and they have ludicrously superior ball skills to the boys, there is the token fat kid, the token black kid and to take political correctness to the umpteenth level, there is the token handicapped kid (in this case a deaf boy). Oh wait! The 'bad' kids are not Moslem terrorists, and there is no gay kid, wrong time period for that I guess.

The Swarm (1978)

Christian Jutner has a fairly minor but aesthetically pleasing role in this disaster turkey. The best fun is had identifying the over-the-top cast and watching them deliver some of the worst performances of their careers.

Unhappily Ever After (1995-1999)

Dreadful series, with poor script and unoriginal characters. Justin Berfield was the only reason I watched the show, but unfortunately he was severely underused.

Beethoven's 2nd (1993)

There are actually 4 movies in the Beethoven series; Beethoven, Beethoven's 2nd, Beethoven's 3rd and of course there had to be a Beethoven's 4th. These are the sort of movies that parents make their kids watch because they don't contain naughty words, sex, or anything that would make their kids 'think'.
