All time great actor Charles Chaplin and one of his all time best movie is "The Kid". The boy acting and facial expressions were great in this movie
My Movie Rating: 10 / 10This is a classic film that pulls at your heart. Mr. Chaplin proves his movie mettle. Jackie Coogan shows why he will go on to stardom. I've always had a soft spot in my heart for his Grandson Kieth. Well worth watching.
My Movie Rating: 9 / 10The very first movie to catapult a boy actor to worldwide fame and recognition. Absolutely brilliant.

I finally got around to seeing this classic, and I immediately regretted waiting so long. It simply took my breath away. Jackie Coogan's performance is absolutely superb. He did so much more than just look cute (though he does plenty of that!). He showed an uncanny instinct for real acting, his most amazing performance being when he's taken away from Charlie Chaplin and forcibly put in the back of the truck. Incredibly moving. Major props to Chaplin for working with this little guy to bring out his best. Jackie Coogan more than deserved to be America's first child star.
My Movie Rating: 10 / 10
