Based on a true story, this is my all-time favorite Christmas classic and to make it even better we have my favorite actor, Rex Thompson, playing the oldest of six children helping his family out as best as he can. So far TCM has aired this film each year and I hope they will continue this tradition, and if they do I will definitely watch it again.

8 / 10 7 / 10 this was jsut okay for me. i really do not like the acting of rex thompson his movnets and facail expression were so stiff. i liked the second oldest boy he was good.

Touching tremendous movie! This tender and moving motion picture, All Mine to Give (1957) is a tearjerker. Poignant and stirring Christmastime and Christmas Day, under the circumstances, flavor the film. RKO Radio Pictures made the film after the true events, written by Dale Eunson, the son of Robby (Robert Eunson, Jr.).
Rex Thompson (Robbie) did an Oscar award winning performance. Butch Bernard (Kirk) performed his acting on the professional level on all his scenes and was quite convincing. Also, Stephen Wootton (Jimmy) acted wonderfully. The 1957 film technology (e.g., sets, lighting, etceteras) are throughout the film (try to look past that when viewing). Amazing film.
