8 / 10 really good movie. yes it subtitiles are hard to read but despite that i enjoyed it. the actors were great. i cant imagine any of todays young actors making a movie like this.

9 / 10 This is a mixed movie. It tells a story, sort of. There are many substories, but they are even more difficult to identify. It doesn't flow smoothly. Some scenes seem not to be related to the rest of the movie.
But it does tell a story of love and friendship in the face of opposition. Despite the fragmentation and confusion, it achieves the goal. The acting is much better than the story cohesiveness. Character development is good. It also brings back fond memories from some few decades ago. Sigh.

10 / 10 9 / 10 This film portrays life, adolescent curiosity and relationships in a most realistic way. The actors put their all into it and came out with a top quality production. The millions of prudes in the US should take a serious look at it and evaluate how life in this country can be made better.

A film dealing with love between boys and, therefore, definitely not from the USA or UK stable! A Danish effort with some great boys in it with delicate and superb acting from Agenso and Bjerg, the two main actors. Filmed in the 70s it offers a good insight into the gear worn by and the hairstyles and flared trousers displayed by boys at that time. The ending is beautiful and something that cries out to be brought more to the fore of public discussion especially in view of the present witch hunt.
