Tea with Mussolini (1999)

To my nice surprise I checked my DVR and this wonderful movie was in it, I had set an Auto-record for it a few months ago!

Charlie handled his part quite well, a very adorable boy!

I gave the movie an 8/10, because I like Charlie! I would have given it a higher rating if Charlie had had more screen time. I do like stories that are based on fact, especially the part of the story where Luca was taken in by those British Ladies, then I think that was the best part of the story! I thought Cher Looked really good for someone nearing her 60's! and for Lilly Tomlin, no matter what roll she plays, she, at least for me, always manages to put a little comic releaf in somewhere! I didn't catch the actor's name of teenage Luca, but I thought he also did very well, and was quite handsome!

Terminator 2: Judgement Day (1991)

I've seen this movie SO many times, I could almost recite the script from memory! By far the best movie of the Terminator series! Edward Furlong was remarkable! this was his first acting job, he was scouted by casting agent Mali Finn for T-2 at the Boys and Girls Club he was a member of, I always thought he was a perfect choice to play John Conner, because he looked enough like linda hamilton, he could have been her Son.

Time Bandits (1981)

I love movies that explore the imagination of boys, I also loved how the film left you with the question: how much was reality? and how much was imagination?! :)

Craig was delightful! I wish he had done more with his career! :(

To Kill a Mockingbird (1962)

A great movie! in a lot of ways, this movie captures the real essence of what life was like in America in the 1930's!

This movie was Robert Duvall's debut, and I thought he did well! I also agree that Atticus was probably Peck's best performance EVER! This movie is Definately a must see!

The Tomorrow Man (2001)

I've never bend a BIG fan of Corben Bernsen, I thought he did OK, and I thought this movie was OK for a B grade Sci-Fi!

This is the only movie I've seen Adam in, so I don't know if he did anything else, he did well, and was cute as the mistreated Son of a narsissist Dad. I had this movie on DVD a while ago, I bought at a pawn shop from the $5 bin. It isn't a must see, but it isn't a don't bother, either, it's worth a look just to see Adam!

El Topo (1970)

I watched this movie for only one reason, the boy! I didn't like all the blood and violence! I stopped watching after El Topo left the boy with the Monks.

Touched by an Angel (1994-2003)

Just watched Joseph Cross in the ep.5.09 Psalms 151, A very moving episode! Celine Dion and Wynona Judd are two of my favorite Female singing artists! I found myself reaching for the Keenex a couple times! Joseph was outstanding! I'm convinced there's nothing he couldn't do when it comes to acting! definately THE best TBA episode ever made!

Tough Guy (1936)

I saw documentary yrs ago about Jackie, in it, the Director of one of the movies Jackie was in needed him to cry on que a for scene, but Jackie just could not produce the tears, so the Director setup a trick to get Jackie to cry, he had a crew member take Jackie's dog by his lead and shoot him with a Blank loaded gun, the stunt was designed to make Jackie think they had killed his dog. needless to say it worked! Jackie once said in an interview that he almost quit acting because of it! Jackie was one the the most memorable child actors of the 1920's and 1930's, and had a quite decent adult career! for me his most memorable adult roll was as Perry White in the Christopher Reeve Superman movie series!

The Toy (1982)

For Jasen: the movie you discribed was "Smokey and the Bandit" starring: Burt Reynolds, Jackie Gleason, Jerry Reed, and Sally Fields! Jackie Gleason was one of America's funniest and most beloved Comedians! for me, he was always a joy to watch! my favorite show of his was "The Honeymooners" my favorite line of Jackie's in The Toy was "Ohff!" Scott was good as Eric, very watchable!

7/10 for Jimmy's performance! he was excellent! he rates in my top 5 favs! other than that, I didn't like this movie that much! because of the bad language, not a Must See, but not a Don't Bother, either! IF your a Jimmy Bennett fan, you'll love his performance!

Voces inocentes (2004)

A powerfully emotional movie! no boys of that age should have see the horrors that Chava saw, his friend pressed into war, other friends shot for resisting! I was so moved by this movie, I almost had to stop watching! all the boys did exceptionally well! especially Padilla! I couldn't understand what they were saying, but I could feel the emotion! I would love to see this in an English Dubbed/subtitled version.

5/27/2013 I just watch it again, this time with English subtitle, so now I understand more of what he was going through! Geart movie!!

Voor een verloren soldaat (1992)

A definite must see! A boy is uprooted from his home in Amsterdam and sent to a farming town to live until the end of the war. It's an engaging film, it not only explores the boy's sexual awakenings, Jeroen is far from home too, as well as Walt, so they immediately connect and become friends.

For A Lost Soldier is a deeply heartfelt romance between a man and his young friend!

I highly recommend this gem of a movie!
