Le ballon rouge (1956)
A classic children's movie, but not just for children. Simple, sweet and pure.
My Movie Rating:

Beautiful People (2008-2009)
I love this show. Hilariously funny with an underlying sentiment of tolerance. There is nothing like this on American TV and even the obviously gay teen Justin on Ugly Betty cannot come out. Both countries are homophobic but at least Britian is willing to confront the issue.
My Movie Rating:

The Black Stallion (1979)

The Brave One (1957)

Very believable, realistic and natural family comedy. Delightful in every way. The boys seem like real life brothers. Highly recommended.

Pixote (1981)
The only reason I didn't give it a 10 is because it is so relentlessly depressing. But it's realistic to the subject it portrays and that is depressing. Still a must see.
