Synopsis
Do-nyeom is a 9 y/o Korean, Buddhist monk. He lives in two worlds -- the silent, lonely world of the temple and the lively world full of fun in the village. He is tormented by questions about his parents and often harassed by kids in the village. One day he becomes fascinated by a woman who has come for the reincarnation ceremony for her deceased son, who was about the same age as himself. The boy has never seen anyone as beautiful as this woman and he cannot help thinking how wonderful it would be to have her as his mother.
