Synopsis
In this comedy-drama, Tony (Frank Sinatra) is a small-time hotel owner with delusions of grandeur. When his finances fall into trouble, he is forced to face reality in order to keep his young son Ally (Eddie Hodges). Nonetheless, he hangs on to the far-fetched dreams best voiced in the classic hit from this film, "High Hopes". Through thick and thin one thing remains constant: the love between Tony and his young son who admires him even if he isn't a 'big shot'. It is he who ultimately teaches Tony that there is more than one way to measure success.
