Synopsis
A diverse group of European refugees gather in a suburban community outside Stockholm, dominated by a foundry. The story is told from the perspective of the children who live, grow up and attend school there. The children learn at an early age that the world at home, with fighting, drinking and infidelity, differs from the world they learn about at school. In this pessimistic context the children have to live and survive.
