Synopsis

Twelve-year-old only child Manuel comes from a well-off background, and virtually every material desire is readily apparent in his eyes. But the boy suffers greatly from the constant scenes of his parents' now-shattered marriage, who, to make matters worse, believe they are arguing discreetly enough so that Manuel doesn't notice. All of this results in a loss of control over the boy, who can do whatever he wants in his free time. His current school performance speaks volumes. Manuel becomes increasingly erratic, nervous, and even aggressive, until he believes he can see his nightly nightmares during the day. To restore peace in the family, he resorts to particularly drastic measures...
