Synopsis
Set during war-stricken 1915 in the French countryside, two brothers, roughly ten and twelve years of age, and their cousin, approximately thirteen, decide to entertain themselves and the adults residing in their home by performing Mozart's Bastien et Bastienne.

9 / 10 6 / 10 6 / 10 7 / 10 A rather low key piece with little actual plot. The three boys spend most of their time practicing and performing scenes from Mozart's Bastien, Bastienne, which Mozart wrote when he was only 12. The singing is good and easily the best thing in the film.
