Synopsis

13-year-old Saku's elderly foster mother is hospitalized, and Saku has to go to a children's home at the start of the summer vacation. Soon his own mother agrees to temporarily take the boy into her home. There, Saku takes care of his little half-brother Köpi while his mother and stepfather go to work. His mother does not want to tell her friends about her older child, so when guests come to the village, Saku is hidden in the upper closet. When his foster mother's health deteriorates further, Saku returns to her, knowing he can go see his half-brother and mother at any time.
