Synopsis
11 y/o Jimmy is a timid boy who doesn?t like sports and has few friends. Unemployed and depressed, his father spends his time fighting with his family. Jimmy?s mother works in a fast-food restaurant and has little time for her son. The only person willing to spend time with Jimmy is his grandfather. Jimmy?s dream is to be an angel so he can defend others from the harm they do to each other and so his father will be proud of him. One day he finds himself face to face with the Archangel Gabriel and asks him if can be an angel too..

8 / 10 6 / 10 Personally, an interesting film as the pier scenes near the end were shot near where I live. Sean Landless played his part well though some might have found his accent somewhat repetitive. Nicely filmed with Billy Connolly popping up in a boy film - again - just as he did in 'A Series of Unfortunate Events', 'Fido' and 'Muppets Treasure Island'.
