Synopsis
When the widowed mother of the Gathercole kids is taken into hospital (never to return), the children realise that this could result in the family being split up by social services, and so they resolve to stay together, keeping the secret of their parents' absence from the authorities.
Notes
- Comprising 41 half-hour episodes spread over three seasons. Season 1, comprising 15 episodes, was transmitted in 1973, and Seasons 2 and 3, comprising 13 episodes each, were transmitted in 1974. A sequel to the series was transmitted on 31 August 1975 under the title "Home Sweet Home".
