Synopsis
Bosse lives with mean-spirited relatives. One day a vendor gives him a magic apple and a genie appears. He is whisked off to 'The Land of Faraway.' Here lives his long-lost father as the King of Green Meadow Mountain, and the boy finds out his true name is Mio. Meanwhile, an evil knight has been abducting children and turning them into birds. Prophecy has foretold that a prince with one companion would go to the 'Land Outside' and fight the evil one...

10 / 10 7 / 10 7 / 10 Seen for the second time, many years later. Looking at this film more objectively now, it's a less than mediocre film. The acting and direction is poor and the dialogue is simply bad. The only positives are the appealing presence of the two young leads.
