Synopsis

Notes
- Based partly on the 1962 novel of the same name by German poet and writer James Kr?ss (1926-1997), and partly on the 1979 television series "Timm Thaler" (itself based on the James Kr?ss novel). The actor who played Timm in the 1979 series, Thomas Ohrner, is given a cameo in this film as a hotel concierge.
- Winner of the BIFAN Children's Jury Award at the 2017 Bucheon International Fantastic Film Festival, and winner of the Audience Award for 'Best Film for Children and Youth' at the 2017 Minsk International Film Festival
