Synopsis
Following the deaths of their parents in a mysterious fire, the three Baudelaire children are shuffled between various foster homes whilst being pursued by Count Olaf, who desires to gain control of the vast Baudelaire inheritance before the children come of age. Along the way, the Baudelaires discover their parents' connections to an elusive secret society.
Notes
- Based on the series of 13 books of the same name (published 1999-2006) written by American author Daniel Handler (b. 1970) under the pen name Lemony Snicket, this web television series comprises a total of 25 episodes over 3 seasons. The first season (8 episodes) adapted the first four books of the series, the second season (10 episodes) adapted books five through nine, and the third and final season (7 episodes) adapted the remaining four books.
