(1972)

Synopsis
Two boys whose father, a Sicilian migrant to Turin, has been wrongly accused of murder try to find evidence of his innocence and begin to uncover the activities of Turin's mafia.
Notes
- Directed by Carlo Lizzani (1922-2013), this is the concluding film of Lizzani's "cronachistica" quadrilogy, preceded by "Svegliati e uccidi" (1966), "Banditi a Milano" (1968) and "Barbagia (La societ? del malessere)" (1969), in which the director combines spectacular action cinema with social engagement. In this last film, he addresses the themes of southern migration to an industrial city in the north, and mafia infiltration among the most disadvantaged social strata.
