Synopsis
When the Lavickas, a Czech family from the city, rent a house in the country with the option to buy, it turns out that old Mr Kom?rek is reluctant to sell the house as originally agreed, in this highly regarded Czechoslovak comedy.

- Winner of the OCIC (Organisation Catholique Internationale du Cin?ma et de l'audiovisuel) award at the 1976 San Sebasti?n International Film Festival
- Zdenek Sver?k, who, besides acting in this movie, also co-wrote the screenplay, is quite a famous Czech screenwriter. Amongst his many credits, he co-wrote the script for the film Kolya (1996).
