Synopsis

When the Sinclair family move into their new home - a house in the country which was built on the site of an old workhouse - the teenage children Tom and Gilly soon discover that it is haunted by the ghost of a young workhouse boy who "caught plague and snuffed it" 140 years previously. Claiming that, being an orphan, he never had a name, they decide to call him 'Nobody', and together the three kids have various studio-bound adventures.

Wally, the Sinclairs' pet dog, was in fact the real-life pet dog of William Gaunt, who played the kids' father, Peter. The dog's actual name was Walter.
