Synopsis
Grieving over the loss of his mother, young Vasco believes that she is now among the stars, and is inspired by seeing the launch of the Apollo 11 space mission on television to build his own spaceship out of cardboard boxes, in the hope of retrieving her.

- For his role in this film Miguel Mestre received the Best Performance award at 'CLAP' - the Carnide Film Festival (2014). The movie itself won the Audience Award at this festival.
- This short film (approximately 11 1/4 minutes) is available to view on Vimeo and on YouTube, with English subtitles.

8 / 10 The plot is sentimental and unoriginal but Miguel Mestre's grave, understated performance goes some way towards redeeming the piece.
