Synopsis

A masked rider (El Charro de las Calaveras - 'Rider of the Skulls') protects rural Mexicans from a werewolf, a vampire and a headless horseman, with the aid of his trusty pubescent sidekick Perico (Gabriel Agras?nchez).

Notes

A film that has acquired a 'cult' status due to its endearing amateurism and to the fact that it seems to comprise three films cobbled together, with little regard for continuity (for example, Gabriel Agras?nchez, who plays Perico, is replaced by some other, uncredited boy in the role of Perico in the last third of the film).
The poor peasant who is attacked and killed by a werewolf in the opening sequence of the movie is in fact the film's director, Alfredo Salazar.
