Synopsis
On a visit to Mumbai 10 year old Om faces the harsh reality of being poor. Om spots a hotel every bit as magnificent as the Palace his grandmother described in her bedtime stories. Dazzled by the sight, he insists on staying at the hotel. His father wagers a night's stay at the hotel if Om can stand first in his school exams. The father-son duo's attempts to win the bet and the extent to which they are pushed by harsh realities, makes for the funny and emotional journey of this bitter-sweet tale.
