Synopsis

Young Chuck visits a nuclear missile site and learns how destructive such weapons can be. Hoping to raise consciousness about nuclear weapons, he quits his Little League team which gains a little bit of local press. One of those stories is read by NBA star "Amazing Grace" Smith, who is moved by the boy's story and he too quits playing his sport. This produces a great deal of national press and a few other stars follow suit. The powers that be set about to intervene in these 'strikes'.
