Synopsis
This story takes place in the 1970s in a small Russian town. Two schoolchildren Dima and Misha find an abandoned dog named Sava. Because Sava saves one of their lives, they decide to keep her. Their parents, however, are against this and, after a series of unfortunate events, Sava ends up in an animal shelter. The boys must bail her out, but before they can get the money together, some bad fur dealers take Sava away... Thus begins an adventure to save the beloved dog, which tests the friendship between the two boys.
