Synopsis
When a young Amish woman and her son get caught up in the murder of an undercover narcotics agent their savior turns out to be hardened Philadelphia detective John Book (Ford). Book is the cop who runs head on into the non violent world of a Pennsylvania Amish community and is forced to confront the essential character of his own violent profession. The end result is an action-packed struggle of life and death. -Interwoven with a sensitive and under-current of caring and forbidden love.

6 / 10 Wonderful cinematography. Unfortunately Lukas Haas is not present for a large duration toward the middle of the film. The ending felt a little rushed like there was still more story to tell. But, I enjoyed and would watch again.
My Movie Rating: 7 / 10 Charming performance from Lukas Haas though how true the film is to the ways of the Amish I wouldn't know.
