Synopsis

The story of a village during the Nazi occupation of Luxembourg, seen through the eyes of 11-year-old Cr?scht and his friends. While most of the villagers are committed one way or another to the Resistance, some are collaborators. During this one memorable summer of 1942 Cr?scht discovers first love with Jhuliett while the Nazi oppression is all around him. One villager is executed, some are pressed into the Wehrmacht, and friends are arrested and sent to forced labor camps.
