Synopsis
'Big City' is set in the Wild West of America during the 1800s and is a spoof on many of the classic American Westerns. The adults of the town all go off to fight the Indians who have allegedly attacked their train wagon, and don't return. The children decide to take on the roles and occupations of their parents, including setting up a government system and elections.

8 / 10 A nice concept, but the writers are a little heavyhanded with the political preaching on the theme of the treatment of the negro and the Red Indian by the white man. Can't hold a candle to "Bugsy Malone", but pleasant enough, and Vincent Valladon is very photogenic and likable as 'James Wayne'.

Also superior in most ways to 'Bugsy Malone.'
