Synopsis
Some children are playing... Alexandre G?rard, an enigmatic man in his forties, enters Kreutzheim, a small, town in Alsace. Time passes. It turns out that this visitor was the only survivor of a tragedy that took place thirty years earlier, almost to the day. It was not long after the war and the government had placed six orphans in the care of a local landowner, a certain M. de Montferrand. Young Alexandre became orphan number seven. The other six disappeared under mysterious circumstances. Alexandre G?rard can't remember anything about it. But someone has sent him a photo taken 30 years ago in the sinister chateau. It shows the young Alexandre, tied to a chair, terrified. Who could have taken the snapshot?
