Synopsis
This 'fantasy rockumentary' stars two real life brothers, Nat Wolff age 9, and Alex Wolff age 6, and the real life band they started in pre-school with archival footage of their first gig. In The Naked Brothers Band, the camera follows Nat and Alex through their concerts, their rehearsals, and their private lives, as they deal with the growing pains related to love, friendship, and fame. The film features original songs written and performed by Nat and Alex.

My Movie Rating: 6 / 10 Mostly what Cal said. A lot of silly and clever stuff and both boys are enchanting. Alex was a little devil - and still is.
My Movie Rating: 8 / 10 8 / 10 The Naked Brothers Band is a sort of pre-teen mixture of the 'Spinal Tap' movie with elements of 'The Monkees' and 'The Partridge Family' thrown in.. I was surprised by some of the content in the movie considering it is on Nickleodeon. It is definitely cutting-edge stuff for that channel. The boys are adorable and just like most boy bands the success of their fictional band depends almost entirely on their looks rather than their talent. The music is appropriately silly and mediocre in quality and the real appeal is in the smaller moments that deal with their everyday lives. The kids are also pretty good actors.
